  • Mazda Engine Management 2 Mazda Motors Engine Management 2 Mazda USA tasked piXvfm to create an e-learning program to train a bilingual force of automotive technicians in emissions and engine technology. piXvfm created a multiple module e-learning course with separate English and Spanish tracks the learner selects upon program start.

    piXvfm used 3D animation and graphics to illustrate complex emissions and engine technology concepts and procedures. In addition to the multilingual capabilities, the interface includes a full navigation control panel, with interactive menus, progress meter, playback, volume, replay, and closed captioning controls.
  • mazdaspeed6 Training Mazda Motors mazdaspeed6 In-Dealer Training Program piXvfm used 3D and 2D animation to illustrate technical concepts for Mazda’s MazdaSpeed6 In-Dealer Technical Training CD-ROM. Rotating and zooming 3D animation was used to illustrate complex operations in the engine, such as the turbocharger and direct injection. piXvfm also animated 2D line art and graphics to demonstrate traction control systems, dynamic stability control, and concepts such as understeer and oversteer.
  • Mazda Tribute Hybrid Mazda Motors Tribute Hybrid Elearning Technical Training Program Mazda USA tapped piXvfm to create a technical training program that would excite the learner with animations to introduce the concepts of the Mazda Tribute Hybrid, and to detail the more technical aspects of hybrid safety and systems.

    piXvfm animators used technical line art and visual inspection of vehicle design and operation to create detailed 3D animation of the Mazda Tribute Hybrid. The engineering background of our animation team allows piXvfm to provide our clients with highly functional animations from very limited source materials, as illustrated in the animations we created for Mazda’s Tribute Hybrid.
  • Mazda MX-5 Mazda Motors MX-5 Power Retractable Hard Top In-Dealer Training Program Mazda turned to the animators at piXvfm when they needed to create technical training for the operation of the MX-5’s Power Retractable Hard Top (PRHT).

    Retractable hard top design and operation is akin to complex automation. It requires integrated computer control of motors, levers and latches. All these elements must be accurately aligned and synchronized. piXvfm animators captured the complex operations of the MX-5’s PRHT in 3D animation using 2D line drawings and technical expertise.
  • Mazda Engine Management 2 Mitsubishi Motors MAC Character Spokesperson piXvfm worked with Mitsubishi Motors to come up with a creative “spokesperson” for Mitsubishi Sales Training. piXvfm created two animated characters: “Mac” - who stars in Mitsubishi Sales Training as a “typical customer” and guides the learners towards the essential sales skills that translate into success on-the-job; and “Letterman” – based upon the late-night TV persona, Dave Letterman, and voiced by celebrity “Evil Dave” from Howard Stern’s radio show. Both characters created a buzz around Mitsubishi’s sales training courses and created a fun learning environment for the Mitsubishi salesforce.
