  • CHOC piXvfm Giving Back piXvfm is committed to the betterment of the world around us. To that end, we often give our time and expertise to charities and organizations that strive to make the world in which we live a better, stronger and more peaceful place.

    piXvfm is a strong supporter of the Southwest Community Center in Orange County, California. SWCC provides food, clothing, shelter, guidance, health, and referral services to economically disadvantaged individuals and families and provides assistance to achieve self-sufficiency.   • CHOC CHOC Telly Award    If Wishes Were Changes piXvfm donated its talents to the Children's Hospital of Orange County to create a fundraising piece to communicate CHOC's unique capabilities to potential donors. This video features 8 stories told through the eyes of children, all patients of CHOC, and combines the narratives with footage of hospital staff treating current CHOC patients.

    piXvfm faced the special challenges of bringing a video crew into a hospital to capture the experiences of the children and staff who make CHOC such an extraordinary hospital. The video continues to be a successful fundraising and educational tool for CHOC.
  • Second Harvest Food Bank Classroom Second Harvest Food Bank Telly Award    Classroom piXvfm produced this televised Public Service Announcement (PSA) for the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County to promote awareness of the hunger problem, to identify Second Harvest as an important local resource for the OC poor, and to help solicit donations and volunteers. As a result of this campaign, Second Harvest saw volunteerism increase by 75 percent and food distribution and donations up 25 percent.

    Recognized by the Ad Council, CAN Service Awards for outstanding solutions for social problems.

  • United Way Day of Caring United Way Day of Caring piXvfm produced this video for the United Way of Orange County to promote their annual event, A Day of Caring.

    This daylong event is the organization's kick off to increase volunteerism and awareness of local human service agencies and schools, and demonstrate what people working together for the good of the community can accomplish.
  • Tim Healey Hush Little Baby Tim Healey Hush Little Baby This 80-minute video features nationally recognized lecturer and author Tim Healey. Tim is an Infant and Child Development Specialist and a Pediatric Physical therapist.

    It is estimated that 1 in 5 children have significant irritability in the first six months. With early intervention and utilizing tools and techniques featured in the video, Tim demonstrates how up to 90 percent of treated children show significant improvement in the second week.

    T. Berry Brazelton, America's most celebrated and influential baby doctor since Benjamin Spock, endorses the program as "a must see for all parents and healthcare providers of children."
  • CHOC Walk CHOC CHOC Walk piXvfm is an enthusiastic supporter of CHOC and the CHOC / Disneyland Resort Walk, the largest annual fundraiser for CHOC facilities in Orange and Mission Viejo, part of a regional pediatric network delivering care and education to more than 250,000 children each year.

    This trailer, shot on 35 mm film, was shown at Regal Movie Theaters throughout Orange County to promote the annual CHOC Walk. The money raised by the event enables CHOC to continue its mission with care, education and research.
  • Orange County Great Park PSA Orange County Great Park PSA This video announces plans to begin work on the Conservancy Garden, which is envisioned to be a source of inspiration for the larger Botanical Garden in the Great Park. Through interviews with Board members and volunteers, and featuring images representative of the park, the program helps to convey the role of the Conservancy Garden, and it's vision of the Great Park as one of the world's greatest metropolitan parks.

    The video was featured at the annual Jewel of Orange County fundraising event at the former El Toro Marine base, and currently resides on the Great Park Conservancy's website.
  • Tai Chi College Of Santa Barbara E-Commerce Web Services Tai Chi College of Santa Barbara E-Commerce Web Services piXvfm helped the Tai Chi College of Santa Barbara take their self-produced instructional DVD, Beginning Tai Chi, to the web. piXvfm converted the Tai Chi College DVD program to digital lessons that may be viewed in QuickTime or iTunes. Working within their existing website, piXvfm set up an e-commerce marketplace that enabled the Tai Chi College of Santa Barbara to sell secure downloads of individual lessons, or the entire program, online.

    piXvfm also worked with the Tai Chi College to promote their instructional program through YouTube, Google, and the web. The Tai Chi College of Santa Barbara now sells Basic Tai Chi to students throughout the United States and the world.
  • Wonderware Southwest Community Center Fundraising Video piXvfm supports the Southwest Community Center throughout the year as a Corporate Donor. piXvfm also donated time and services to produce a video to increase awareness of the services SWCC provides to the community and to support their fundraising efforts.

    SWCC supports families, provides immunizations, basic needs and runs a very busy soup kitchen. They have assisted many families and individuals over the years to climb out of poverty and to get off the street to obtain a job and achieve more independence. They continue to make a difference in the lives of so many who want to go from "welfare to work".
