  • Roland XC-540 Roland DGA XC-540 Printer/Cutter piXvfm caught up with the Roland XC-540 on the set of a major motion picture in production at Paramount Studios. The movie's Art Department used the Roland XC-540 to replicate walls, ceiling and floor tiles in the US Capitol Building for "Charlie Wilson's War".

    This high definition video features sound bites from an on-set interview with the film's Graphic Designer Martin Charles, and the opening montage provides a behind-the-scenes peek of Stage 15 at Paramount Studios.
  • EVO IX Mitsubishi Motors Telly Award  Lancer Evolution IX piXvfm went on location with Mitsubishi and driver/commentator Stephen Cox to put the incredibly quick Lancer Evolution IX to the test on the "Horse Thief Mile" course at Willow Springs International Motorsports Park.

    This video combined actual in-car driving footage of the entire one-mile track with sweeping crane shots and on-camera talent to showcase every aspect of the Evo's blazing performance and capture the attention of Mitsubishi's sales force to convey specific new model features.
  • Printable.com Printable.com Telly Award  In Search of a Great Printer Printable.com looked to piXvfm for a creative approach to introduce their new company into the online printing marketplace. piXvfm pays tribute to Steve Irwin as the Printer Hunter braves the wilds of a busy print shot in search of the Great Printer.

    The crew faced the challenges of shooting on-location in a busy print shop during off-peak hours to capture how Printable.com's introduction to the marketplace revolutionized the printing industry.
  • Subaru Impreza WRX Subaru Telly Award  Impreza/WRX Shot on location at Buttonwillow Raceway Park, this video features the rally-inspired turbocharged Subaru Impreza WRX in exciting fast-paced segments on the track and on the rally circuit.

    piXvfm tapped top talent Eric Dane (Dr. "McSteamy" from TV's Grey's Anatomy) to get behind the wheel and describe the vehicle's features as in-car mounted cameras, a camera car, and 24' jib captured all the action.

    Subaru used this training video to support the launch of the Impreza model line in dealerships across the country. The successful launch boasted a sales increase of 222 percent, marking the best Impreza sales since 1994.
  • CHOC CHOC Telly Award  If Wishes Were Changes piXvfm donated its talents to the Children's Hospital of Orange County to create a fundraising piece to communicate CHOC's unique capabilities to potential donors. This video features 8 stories told through the eyes of children, all patients of CHOC, and combines the narratives with footage of hospital staff treating current CHOC patients.

    piXvfm faced the special challenges of bringing a video crew into a hospital to capture the experiences of the children and staff who make CHOC such an extraordinary hospital. The video continues to be a successful fundraising and educational tool for CHOC.
  • Subaru H6 3.0 Subaru Outback H6-3.0 Shot on location at Big Bear Lake, this Sales Training video hosted by Steve Kanaly introduced the new Outback H6 to dealerships across the country.

    piXvfm introduced Subaru to Steve, who for 11 years played Ray Krebs on TV's hit series "Dallas". An avid outdoorsman, he proved to be the perfect choice to host the programs that highlight the features and benefits of the rugged Subaru model line.
  • ITT Cannon ITT Industries/Cannon We're Part of Your World ITT Industries, the $5 billion global design and manufacturing company, selected piXvfm to showcase their products and capabilities, and communicate their international benefits independent of country and time zone barriers.

    Shot on location at Cannon manufacturing plants in Dole, France and Weinstadt, Germany, piXvfm followed the production of electronic interconnects, switches and network components from design, to assembly, to application to create a visually compelling and informative corporate marketing video.
  • Nissan Nissan North America 350Z Nissan selected piXvfm to introduce the next generation Z Car to Service and Sales staff anxiously awaiting its release. Continuing the Z heritage, the new 350Z is a combination of passion and performance.

    piXvfm delivered equal passion and performance to the presentation of features and benefits of this new generation, much-revered sports car. This new model introduction video brought the excitement of the 350Z to the screen through interviews with the vehicle's designers, running footage, and technical highlights.
  • Second Harvest Food Bank Second Harvest Food Bank Telly Award    Classroom piXvfm produced this televised Public Service Announcement (PSA) for the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County to promote awareness of the hunger problem, to identify Second Harvest as an important local resource for the OC poor, and to help solicit donations and volunteers. As a result of this campaign, Second Harvest saw volunteerism increase by 75 percent and food distribution and donations up 25 percent.

    Recognized by the Ad Council, CAN Service Awards for outstanding solutions for social problems.
  • Iwo Jima Documentary Flags Over Iwo Jima The release of Clint Eastwood's "Flags of Our Fathers" renewed interest in the Battle of Iwo Jima and the historic flag raising atop Mt Suribachi. The historic event captured by Pulitzer prize-winning API photographer Joe Rosenthal was in actuality the second flag raised that day. The first flag-raising, captured by Marine photographer Sgt. Lou Lowrey, occurred two hours earlier.

    In 2002, Leatherneck Magazine discovered Lowrey's photographs and provided new evidence of the identities of the men who raised the first flag. "Flags Over Iwo Jima" seeks to expand the history of the Marine Corps, and finally bring recognition to those Americans who braved enemy fire to raise the first American flag atop Mt. Suribachi.
  • Drive Tour Mitsubishi Motors Telly Award  Feel What Happens piXvfm created this Sales Training video for Mitsubishi to highlight events from Mitsubishi's 8-city Feel What Happens Drive Tour event in Washington, D.C. Mitsubishi dealers and customers test drove the Mitsubishi Galant and Endeavor and feel firsthand how the cars stacked up against the competition.

    This video captured all the in-car action as the Drive Tour featured two closed-circuit tracks, professional driving demonstrations, and an opportunity for participants to drive and give impressions of the Mitsubishi vehicles.
  • Tim Healey Tim Healey Hush Little Baby This 80-minute video features nationally recognized lecturer and author Tim Healey. Tim is an Infant and Child Development Specialist and a Pediatric Physical therapist.

    It is estimated that 1 in 5 children have significant irritability in the first six months. With early intervention and utilizing tools and techniques featured in the video, Tim demonstrates how up to 90 percent of treated children show significant improvement in the second week.

    T. Berry Brazelton, America's most celebrated and influential baby doctor since Benjamin Spock, endorses the program as "a must see for all parents and healthcare providers of children."
  • Toyota TIS Techstream Toyota TIS Techstream: Building the Service Bay of the Future Toyota asked piXvfm to produce a DVD to promote TIS TechStream to Toyota Dealers and provide information about the transition to this upgraded diagnostic /information system needed to keep pace with the flood of technology and the associated technical information.

    The program's opening features a "time machine" sequence where a 1987 Camry (with its 4 onboard computers) transitions to a 2007 Camry Hybrid (with 40 onboard computers).
  • Mitsubishi Galant Mitsubishi Galant Dare to Compare Mitsubishi selected piXvfm to pit the Mitsubishi Galant against 3 of its competitors in this Dare to Compare video. We recruited a host from the Mitsubishi Academy along with renowned Automotive Expert Derek Ross to compare the vehicles in the areas of performance, appearance, comfort & convenience, economy & value, reliability, and safety. Together, they demonstrated the Galant's competitive advantages as we move from vehicle to vehicle in a fast-paced question and answer format.

    Through the use of a Steadicam camera system, running footage and animation, we follow all the action to get a good look at how the Galant measures up.
  • Data Works Dataworks Telly Award  Making it Better Dataworks asked piXvfm to create a tradeshow video highlighting the value Dataworks employees bring to the company. The result was a "behind-the-scenes" look at the process of composing an original song for Dataworks cut with scenes featuring actual employees on-the-job.
  • Roland Roland The Mystery of Print/Cut Roland wrote the book on Print/Cut. Now piXvfm made the movie!

    piXvfm took a fun approach with this Sherlock Holmes themed marketing video featuring clues to making the most of Roland's Integrated Print/Cut Technology. Print/Cut eliminates the need for hand processes and merges the tasks of multiple machines into a single unattended inkjet device.
  • Wonderware Wonderware Alan Shepard Wonderware hosted NASA astronaut Alan Shepard, the first American in space, to talk about his experiences and piXvfm was there. Shepard was a member of the NASA space programs Project Mercury, Project Gemini, and Project Apollo, and was the commander of Apollo 14, America's third successful lunar landing mission.

  • Wonderware Southwest Community Center Fundraising Video piXvfm supports the Southwest Community Center throughout the year as a Corporate Donor. piXvfm also donated time and services to produce a video to increase awareness of the services SWCC provides to the community and to support their fundraising efforts.

    SWCC supports families, provides immunizations, basic needs and runs a very busy soup kitchen. They have assisted many families and individuals over the years to climb out of poverty and to get off the street to obtain a job and achieve more independence. They continue to make a difference in the lives of so many who want to go from "welfare to work".
